Title: Counsel

Reports To: Senior Counsel

Location: Flexible (preference for New York City, Denver/Boulder, or Boston)

Description: Key legal team member reporting to Senior Counsel, supporting the company’s commercial, financing, and development objectives across a large portfolio of utility-scale standalone storage projects. This role partners with cross-functional teams to negotiate critical project agreements, execute transactions, and advance projects from development through operations.

The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated and proactive, able to independently drive complex workstreams, exercise sound judgment, and build practical solutions to evolving challenges. Candidates should have a background in either project finance/investment transactions or EPC, procurement, and operational project agreements. The position offers regular exposure to executive leadership, meaningful ownership from day one, and a clear path for increasing responsibility as the legal function and portfolio scale.
