ApplyFirst ("we", "us", "our") operates applyfirstjobs.com — a job aggregation platform and salary information service. We are not a recruitment agency and do not act as an employer or staffing service. All salary tools and calculators are provided for informational purposes only.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the following:

  • Email address — only when you voluntarily submit it to receive job alerts or to proceed to a job application. We never collect your email without your explicit action.
  • Usage data — standard server logs including IP address, browser type, pages visited, collected automatically by our hosting provider (Vercel).
  • Calculator inputs — salary figures and other data entered into our tools are processed entirely in your browser and are never stored or transmitted to our servers.

We do NOT collect: names, phone numbers, resumes, payment information, or sensitive personal data.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To send weekly job alert emails if you signed up for them
  • To understand which content is most useful (aggregated, anonymised analytics)
  • We do NOT sell, rent, or share your email with third parties
  • We do NOT use your data for advertising targeting

4. Salary Tools & Calculators

All salary calculations, tax estimates, and financial tool outputs on ApplyFirst are performed locally in your browser. We do not store, log, or transmit any data you enter into our calculators. These tools are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial or tax advice. Always consult a qualified professional for financial decisions.

5. Job Listings

All job listings are sourced from publicly available company career pages. When you click Apply, you are redirected to the employer's own website. We have no control over and take no responsibility for the content or privacy practices of third-party employer websites.

6. Data Storage & Security

Email addresses are stored securely via Supabase on AWS infrastructure. We retain email addresses until you request deletion. To delete your data, email: applyfirstjobs@gmail.com.

7. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Our website may use essential cookies required for basic functionality only. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking tools.

8. Your Rights

  • Request a copy of personal data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Unsubscribe from job alert emails at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority
